It鈥檚 important to keep in mind that after introduction, some bills move on, some don鈥檛, and some bill proposals change as they move along.

Monday, an amended version of HB 1031 moved to the Rules Committee. HB 1031 expands participation in College in the High School programs to include tenth, eleventh, or twelfth grade students.

51福利社 has published its 2015 Legislative Platform. The platform was written and approved by both the 51福利社 Board of Directors and the 51福利社 Legislation Committee.

If you鈥檙e reading this blog, you鈥檙e probably already familiar with Initiative 1351, which is designed to reduce class size. 51福利社 has long advocated for new revenue and supported legislation to lower class size, but this ballot measure has too many implementation issues and is not the best way to increase student achievement for all kids, which is why the 51福利社 board voted to opposed it.
